Toilet and Shut-Off Valve Replacement in St. Albans, WV
Running toilet and corroded shut-off valves replaced in a St. Albans, WV home. Quarter-turn valves, braided supply lines and a water-saving toilet.
The Problem
An older St. Albans home had a toilet that ran constantly and original multi-turn shut-off valves that were corroded. Valves like these often seize or drip once they finally get turned.
What We Did
- Replaced the running toilet with a water-saving model
- Swapped the old multi-turn valves for quarter-turn shut-offs in the bathroom and kitchen
- Installed new braided stainless supply lines
- Checked every connection for drips
The Result
The toilet no longer runs, and the homeowner can shut off any fixture quickly in an emergency. Need help with something similar? Learn more about our residential plumbing in St. Albans, WV, or visit our Plumbers in St. Albans, WV page.
